Information for Patients
Work Injuries

Work injuries can result in chronic pain and limitations that are physically disabling. Physical injuries can also lead to dramatic changes in self-esteem, the ability to enjoy pleasurable activities, and family relationships. We recognize that psychological distress stemming from life changes and loss of work can complicate your recovery from an industrial physical injury.

We have expertise in treating patients with both work-related psychiatric injuries (e.g., exposure to trauma or abuse) and work-related physical problems that lead to psychological problems (e.g. depression, anxiety, or chronic pain). We are familiar with rapidly changing workers’ compensation regulations and we provide timely, comprehensive medical-legal documentation. We treat both represented and unrepresented injured workers, and we obtain prior authorization from your carrier before starting treatment.

We can also help you find a nurse case manager, a vocational rehabilitation counselor, a psychiatrist, or a pain restoration program.
